I have a constant problem with my collective fluttering. While flying, the collective will increase violently, increasing torque to a critical level. This happens while in level flight with no collective inputs and while sitting on the ground at flat pitch. I thought maybe I was somehow engaging the auto pilot but found that was not the case. I've even went so far as to uninstall the files and reinstall to no avail. I love the UH-1 simulator and want to continue to fly it but I have to correct this issue because I can never complete a mission without over torqueing and crashing. Please advise. :(

Gentlemen, it's always better for everybody who wants to help you to upload a track... Or at least describe your controlling hardware and settings in this case.

But as you said, I'm suspecting current false behaviour when engaging autopilot. Maybe you have mapped that on your controls by default and you don't know about it...?

Sounds like you may have another controller mapped to the collective. If more than one device are mapped to the same axis, you will see almost constant "flutter" as the inputs from the two controllers fight.

Hi thanks for the immediate response. I just looked at the "Axis Assign" on my mapping page and I only have the one controller on the collective. I use the Saitek X52 controller. I also "cleared" all of my "auto pilot" keyboard commands so that if I was unknowingly touching one of them it would correct that problem. I have no auto pilot commands assigned to my controller. Is this a problem that only I have reported, if so maybe it is something I'm doing...

And you checked on the keyboard's settings ?

Cheers.

Hi Weta, yes I checked the keyboard settings and cleared them. I've been flying for a little while today and no flutter...you may have been right. It might have been the keyboard stings... to all that helped...thanks for the help.
