Meatwod Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 Pray for those who lost loved ones in Moore, OK today.
Ranger79 Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 My prayers and thoughts are with the families who have lost loved ones. I was stationed at Tinker AFB during the May 3rd 1999 tornado, and they are saying this is worse which is horrible, really hard to believe. Invader ZIM Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 Family are okay from the area, they received warning and took shelter 20 minutes before. Out my way in the Ohio Valley we have a 30% chance for tornadoes this afternoon, so we're keeping an eye on the sky, I have my radar set up and lightning detectors ready to warn neighbors.
Invader ZIM Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 (edited) Here's a 32 min video from the local news helicopter and channel that was there when the tornado was heading toward Moore, for those not familiar with the size and speed of such storms this is probably the closest thing to seeing Godzilla heading your way. When one is on the ground, this is the sort of warning we get here in the U.S. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sEqXpesgYg0 Edited May 22, 2013 by Invader ZIM new link
