BEAr TRAP missin 7 - broken?

the mission calls for a fighter sweep between Mozdok and Nylchi(?).

enemy planes I found in the area were a couple of Su-33's and and about 8 su-25's - (while the briefing threat assesment talked about SU-27's and MiG-29's only)

never the less I got them all. AWACS gave picture clean, got all waypoints and still - no mission complete. did this a number of times, no joy.

is this mission broken?

yes. 2 group of su25. 4 and 4. each have an escort of su30. 2 su30 each time. BUT the escort two have a wrong start time. So it will never appears. go in the mission editor and delete the escort 1. :smartass:

tnax bueno but for some reason DCS will not let me save the changes:

 

"Can not open file for writing C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\mods\aircrafts\Flaming Cliffs\Missions\en\Campaigns\FC3-F15C-07.miz"

 

maybe I am doing something wrong? what are the steps for doing it?

It's probably because the folder where the campaign files are stored is read-only. You'll have to change the permissions on the folder to make it writable.

thanx Bueno, I had to enter game as administrator, and it sorted things up. the deletion of the second escort via mission editor did the trick and i finally managed to move on to the next mission... thanx again for your help!

you re welcome. I've finish the campaign f15. some issue and goals to change but it was ok. I'm at the mission 5 of the campaign su33 and I will redo the Georgian Hammer campaign dor A10C (need to go back on more HC sim)

thanks alot. Georgian hammer sure needs some retouching. It looks like FC3 campaigns were totally neglected by the developers as the versions progressed and seem to have many broken features.

I am far from finishing the campaign and by the look of it i'll sure need some help at tweaking missions... :)
