I hope this is the right place for this question (problem).

I recently purchased a Thrustmaster T-1600, and I just downloaded

and installed the TARGET interface software.

the very first time I ran the TARGET software it runs (and continues to)

run about 3/4 OFFSCREEN in the upper left corner of the screen.

It's so far offscreen that I am nable to 'grab' the title bar to reposition

it . The only way 'out' is to kill the process for it.

I am running Win7 (64 bit) at 1366 x 768.

I'm stuck. Any ideas?

One thing that might work...

Can you right click the icon for Target on the taskbar? If you close Target with the right click menu, when you restart it opens up smaller than normal (not sure if it will be small enough) and then you might be able to resize/move it to a better spot.

This is based on my experience with the Target Script Editor not the GUI. If you are talking about the GUI then YMMV.

I run Target on a hires (2560x1440) monitor, so I am just guessing that this will help.

Nope, that did nothing. The window did not resize.

I was hoping that there was maybe a command line option that could be

added to the shortcut icon to 'center' the window on opening.

try changing resolutions and then drag it down.

No, changing resolution is not an option. I have over 60 desktop shortcuts

and altering the resolition screws up the positions of them all.

I'm investigating window position changing from the Commnd prompt. No

results yet.

Well I found a 'way'.

I downloaded a small program called "cmdow", which a command line

options program usable in the command prompt in win7, or better

yet from a batch file.

So first running the 'badly positioned" TARGET GUI, and then the

following batch file commands...

cd C:\Program Files (x86)\cmdow
CMDOW "T.A.R.G.E.T GUI" /MOV 0 0

That MOVES the window to the upper left corner (pos 0,0) which then

alllows the title bar to be grabbed and resized.

Crude, but it works.
