hello guys!

normally i tend to create my own mission when flying online, as most of the time i dont see any other P51 servers, the plane i prefer to fly right now.(a10 sits in the hangar right now)

but the last two or three days i joined some different p51 servers, and recognized strange viewing settings suddenly forced on me.

on one server for example, when i tilted my head(trackir5) to the left, ingame it tilted to the right, and the other way round.so this was really confusing and prevented me of enjoying to fly on this server....so i asked the host if he wants to join me on my created mission, what he then did...

his english wasnt too good, so i didnt really understand his words then, but he also said that there is something different on my mission than what he is usually used to.

and two days ago, i saw another server which i joined...and again my viewing settings were suddenly different...

this time it was that the standard FOV was forced on me.i think its 75° in the P51 by default(i changed that to 90° in my settings, which i do for the A10 as well).so flying on this server was again not really enjoyable....

but then again i joined some other servers as well in the last view days, where all my settings worked just like they should...so no forced viewing settings....

so what is forced on clients automatically?how can i assure, that i dont force any viewing settings on clients who join my server?

Sounds like a view folder is included in the mission file and it is not needed. If a mission is "prepared" it will add the view folder and it should be deleted so clients are not affected by it (as you have found).

Mission Editor/ Map Options, Mission options show what can be forced in a MP mission (and no, you cannot force internal views there).

Find better servers.
