Wilczek Posted June 4, 2013 Posted June 4, 2013 Hello guys! Is there any way to change place, and if possible change size of bort numbers? I know that I can change their texture. I just want to be able to move tail number lower and make it bigger :)
311Gryphon Posted June 4, 2013 Posted June 4, 2013 http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=73093 This thread has some good information in it. I was looking for another thread I thought I had in my favorites but I can't find it now. It had some great information on the last page about editing the bort numbers. The only way I know to do it is to edit the skin to be what you want it to be and make the lines in the .lua file that deal with the bort numbers to be "empty". I made a 2 part tutorial about skinning and the thread I posted has a really good one as well. As far as I know you can't change the location of the bort numbers in game, but using the .lua file you can change the color. Unless there are different files in the game that you can load with the .lua file that will change the size or location of the bort number? Someone else will certainly be better help than I on that one. But to my limited knowledge the only way to completely customize the bort number would be to reskin the plane, which isn't too hard. Good luck. http://www.youtube.com/user/311Gryphon i7-8700, 32 GB DDR4 3000, GTX 1080 TI 11GB, 240 GB SSD, 2TB HDD, Dual (sometimes Triple) monitor, TM Warthog HOTAS, Saitek Pro Combat Pedals, TrackIR [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Wilczek Posted June 4, 2013 Author Posted June 4, 2013 That's what I've already figured out - that I can make bort numbers spots empty. But making individual skin for different numbers isn't very efficient :) Anyway thanks for help, maybe ED will work on that too in the future - since AFAIK there are some changes in F-15 skin (decals layer).

Yeah. There may be a better way to do it. I wish the in game bort number would change more than just the last 2 numbers. It would be cool if you could change the entire bort number and maybe have a few templates for size and location that you could select in game. Good luck. For what it's worth, if you just use the nose and tail bort number locations it's only 3 of the 12 textures that you have to change. http://www.youtube.com/user/311Gryphon i7-8700, 32 GB DDR4 3000, GTX 1080 TI 11GB, 240 GB SSD, 2TB HDD, Dual (sometimes Triple) monitor, TM Warthog HOTAS, Saitek Pro Combat Pedals, TrackIR [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

Wilczek Posted June 5, 2013 Author Posted June 5, 2013 Thanks for your replies, but I really don't have problem with skinning. I know how and with what tools :) I only have problem with moving and resizing bort numbers.
