Flamin_Squirrel Posted June 4, 2013 Posted June 4, 2013 Hi guys. I hope you don't mind my asking for help here... I've recently started experiencing the dreaded BSOD (blue screen of death). Initially rare, it now occurs with alarming frequency. Although sometimes it can go for hours, sometimes it's a matter of minutes between BSOD events. Unfortunately it doesn't appear to be repeatable; there is nothing specific that sets it off as it can happen with the computer idling, when I'm playing DCS, and anything in-between. As such, I wouldn't be surprised if it was being caused by a hardware fault, however that's just a gut feeling. I've attached a recent AppCrashView report and my system specs below. If anyone can provide any hints it would be greatly appreciated. TimeKilla Posted June 4, 2013 Posted June 4, 2013 Have you installed any new drivers or programs that are loaded on startup if not could be anything but first thing to check would be RAM you can do this by running a software test or removing a single stick at a time and waiting to see if it still BSODs if so put back in and remove another until all dimms have been removed at one point to eliminate you're ram. Software test http://www.memtest.org/ :joystick: YouTube :pilotfly: TimeKilla on Flight Sims over at YouTube.
