tft_flare Posted June 12, 2013 Posted June 12, 2013 Hello, Just downloaded DCS: World on Win XP 32Bit and as you can probably guess, I'm having problems. I load the launcher and everything runs perfectly, I've edited the controls to my liking (as similar to FSX as possible, so I am not a noob to proper flight sims having enjoyed the IRIS Mudhen and Tomcat and the VRS Superbug) but when I try to fly the default SU-35T "Frogfoot", the loading screen gets to 100%, freezes for a moment, and then crashes to the desktop. I have searched the forums but cannot find anything that can help me otherwise I wouldnt have troubled you all with this post. I currently have DCS: World installed on a 1TB Hard Drive that is separate from my system32 hard drive. My PC has fairly good specs and can run WarThunder at Max settings at 52 fps so its not a crash due to inferior hardware. AMD Phenom X4 965 Black Edition 3.5GHz Nvidia Geforce GT440 4GB DDR3 RAM Any and all help would be very much appreciated! Chris P.S. I am a total noob to the DCS platform. :D

tft_flare Posted June 12, 2013 Author Posted June 12, 2013 I'd rather not edit the BIOS or registry, is there anything else i can try? I'd leave that to a last resort. thanks so far though :) 1
