That's a question that doesn't really have an all-encompassing answer. In some respects LOMAC is more realistic. In other respects, F4AF is more realistic.

IMO, Lomac gives you the edge in flight models, aerial combat and formation flying...not to mention more realistic visuals. F4 has a clickable pit, better comms, it's a better all-around war simulator and it has that big, bad heavy stick...the dynamic campaign.

 

I "feel" like I'm flying in Lomac so it's my fav of the two. :)

I think they both have there place, LOMAC-FC great graphics but no dynamic campaigns, Falcon4AF good graphics (particularly with the addon HiTiles) and has dynamic campaigns. I play both.

No self-respecting flight simmer should be without either one - there's no possible way I can actually recommend you not buy one of the two, for any reason.
