popcorn Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 I got rid of all my weapons and went for a fly, got to a very strange speed. Had immortality turned on. Would aircraft have broke otherwise?
Pilotasso Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 Most modern fighters can achieve mach 1.2 max speed at sea level in clean configuration, so its not far off real life. .

EtherealN Posted July 3, 2013 Posted July 3, 2013 Which is what he said, isn't it? :) Basically, he means that it's not really a "very strange" speed, it's "not far off". Basically, it is somewhere around 0.1 mach too fast. Was this level flight, and what was the pressure and temperature? (For example, if temp is 30C, we're looking at a ~0.05 error.)
