White Owl Posted July 24, 2013 Posted July 24, 2013 Hello there. I'm a newbie to DCS, but have already been enjoying it a great deal. Bought the P-51D module first, and that was so much fun I grabbed the A-10c while it was on sale. I have a problem. I started the stock P-51D campaign, and I've been recording the missions for a Youtube video series here: Earlier today I updated DCS World, launched the game, played through one mission... and DCS crashed to desktop. When I relaunched the game, all progress in my campaign had been wiped. It started over at mission number one. Is there any way to get that campaign progress back? By editing a file somewhere, maybe? Or how about a way to play the individual missions? I'm trying to show off the sim, and this is a serious monkey wrench in the works. Any ideas? :(
HiJack Posted July 24, 2013 Posted July 24, 2013 Backup? I always take a copy of the DCS folder in Saved Games before upgrading to next version, saves all the progress. If you have "System Restore" activated that may be a path to investigate but that needs some planning.
White Owl Posted July 24, 2013 Author Posted July 24, 2013 Okay, nevermind, problem solved! I just found the option to play missions individually from the mission editor. Crisis averted.
HiJack Posted July 24, 2013 Posted July 24, 2013 OK so the logbook and campaign status was not your priority. Then individual playing the missions is a good solution.
