Echo38 Posted August 27, 2013 Posted August 27, 2013 Well, evidently, the old method is still supported as well, because my view modifications are working on the latest version, with only my SnapViewsDefault.lua and View.lua modified, and with no View directory in my Saved Games\DCS\Config. Did anyone try pasting my suggested lines directly into the end of the two files? Since they work for me on the latest build, they should work for everyone. I guess I should amend my big post, since it's evidently using an out-of-date (though currently-still-supported) method, and it doesn't match the latest files generated by the autoupdater (and, I presume, new installs and autorepairs). But I'm not sure how the new method works!
9.JG27 DavidRed Posted August 27, 2013 Posted August 27, 2013 mh i just began to tweak some of my view settings... now i came towards a problem, that when i look back 180degrees, that my x and z axis seem to be mixed up...meaning that i lean forwards, my virtual body will shift to the right side, if i lean backwards, the body will shift to the left side, if i lean towards my left side, it will lean forward, and if i lean towards my right side, the virtual body will lean backwards.... any solution for this by anyone?? @echo, if there is no snapviews.lua in your saved games folder, then maybe you have to alter the line usedefaultsnapviews=true change it to usedefaultsnapviews=false
Foul Ole Ron Posted August 27, 2013 Posted August 27, 2013 I use Peter P's mod - it's perfect for checking your six in the P51 with a look over your shoulder and prevents all the exorcist moves. Also allows you to see that pesky fuselage fuel gauge much more easily. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=96116

Try changing it from 180 degrees to 179 degrees.
