Hello Everyone

I recently re-installed 3ds max studio because I want to try, since I'm still a rookie,

and contribute with some models for Beczl's WW2 mod.

I know that an airplane is a big task for a "real" first-time project but I feel

that with a challenge of this size it could be a very good first step for more models in the future.

I will try to update with my progress. These pictures are after 3 hours of work.

(1 hour to get back into the game). Just the fuselage and wings. Some geometric

error by the cockpit is visible and front part of the wings are too pointy.

Feel free to comment on design errors that you may see. I'll try to take in all constructive feedback and I hope some of you with good modelling knowledge could help me when I get stuck

Seems like your off to a decent start there Janko. Specially considering its your first real project.

Good luck and maybe (hopefully) we end up whit yet another player controllable aircraft.

Hi guys

A little update. Since the reference material I had was really bad I went back to the internet to find quality blueprints.

The C-47 is a modified version of DC-3 which helped me to find some really good material.

Because Rudel, thanks for posting a solid tutorial link in another thread, I forced myself to start over from

the beginning to get an accurate model. So here is one picture showing the reference lines which form an DC-3 shell.

This is just the fuselage, I will be doing the wings as well.
