Lizzard Posted August 30, 2013 Share Posted August 30, 2013 Hello, anybody here did the SU-27 Campaign and was successful in the Mission where you have to shoot down the heavily guarded enemy AWACS?! Any Hints?! For me that Mission is simply impossible.. 3x Patriot, 4x F-16 and 2x F-15...my 3 Wingman get shot down extremly fast (no matter what I tell them)...so no help from them..how to deal with that?! I fly in very low to avoid the SAMs but as far as I have to leave the Mountains to get in Range to the AWACS im am confronted with at least 2 SAMS and up to 6 enemy Fighters who very easily evade my Missiles and no Cover at all (open Sea)..:( My Specs: I don`t care..it is a Computer..a black one.. vegue Posted September 14, 2014 Share Posted September 14, 2014 It is a tough mission if you wanna bring down all bandit fighters. Vipers are hard to lock and hit. But I won this game by rushing directly with afterburners on to the AWACS and escorting eagles. I toasted the big bird while my wingmen were distracting the eagles before vipers could reach us.
