heloguy Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 Okay, so this is weird. I'm running the most current version of DCS-World, 1.2.5.16508, and I'm trying to get my second monitor up and running with both MFCDs and the RWR. So far, I've got the MFCDs working just fine, but for the life of me I can't get the RWR to come up. Weirder still, I can only get the MFCDs to come up if I name them Left_MFCD and Right_MFCD respectively, instead of the newer names I've seen that are supposedly the right ones with DCS 1.2.5. I had everything working with the MFCDs, and then decided to add the freeware version of A-10C Virtual Cockpit server for my iPad. Once again, everything is working fine now, except the RWR. I've tried three different names for the gauge, but no dice: RWR, RWR_Screen, and ED_A10C_RWR without result. This is my current config: _ = function(p) return p; end; name = _('A-10C Virtual Cockpit Server'); Description = 'Setup for A-10C Virtual Cockpit Server MFCD and CDU Exports.' cichlidfan Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 Did you install the modded files to support this? The names that start with ED do not come from a stock install. The files from this post are what you need. http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=1541311&postcount=68 ASUS ROG Maximus VIII Hero, i7-6700K, Noctua NH-D14 Cooler, Crucial 32GB DDR4 2133, Samsung 950 Pro NVMe 256GB, Samsung EVO 250GB & 500GB SSD, 2TB Caviar Black, Zotac GTX 1080 AMP! heloguy Posted September 3, 2013 Author Posted September 3, 2013 I didn't install any modded files, no. I must not have read that post. I have tried just using RWR and RWR_Screen, though, without any modding. Are both of these wrong? i9 12900k @ 4.9ghz, 64gb RAM Nvidia RTX 3090 Windows 11 x64 Pimax Crystal VP Force Rhino w/RS F16GRH, Virpil TCS Rotor Plus AH-64 Collective, BRD F1 Pedals, WH Throttle, FSSB R3 w/WH Grip, PointCTRL v2
heloguy Posted September 3, 2013 Author Posted September 3, 2013 I just downloaded the mod, but my next question is, everything my install is updated by ED, I'm going to have to reinstall this mod in order to have my monitor setup correctly, right? i9 12900k @ 4.9ghz, 64gb RAM Nvidia RTX 3090 Windows 11 x64 Pimax Crystal VP Force Rhino w/RS F16GRH, Virpil TCS Rotor Plus AH-64 Collective, BRD F1 Pedals, WH Throttle, FSSB R3 w/WH Grip, PointCTRL v2

Correct. The mod will need to be reinstalled after any update by ED. Many of us us JSGME to manage this process. More about JSGME can be found here. As for your previous question...unlike the MFDs, the RWR and other instruments are not exported by the stock install. For it to work, a file must be modified for each item you want to export (i.e. RWR, Digital Clock, CMSC, etc.). heloguy Posted September 3, 2013 Author Posted September 3, 2013 Alright, cool. Thanks a lot for the info. I have several mods I use already with JSGME, and just started setting this one up. Shouldn't be too hard now that I looked into it. Thanks again! i9 12900k @ 4.9ghz, 64gb RAM Nvidia RTX 3090 Windows 11 x64 Pimax Crystal VP Force Rhino w/RS F16GRH, Virpil TCS Rotor Plus AH-64 Collective, BRD F1 Pedals, WH Throttle, FSSB R3 w/WH Grip, PointCTRL v2
