Wrong Skins in Campaign and Single Mission

Why I'm having plain green texture of Huey instead of UN livery in UN Pilot Campaign? Also it's weird that in Single Mission called Stray Eagle my Huey is in slick NASA livery, although it should be armed...

No, it's not working. After doing all steps mentioned in thread you linked, I still have plain green livery in UN Campaign...

..the description.lua File from the UN Skin (and all other Skins) is faulty, so just copy the Folder from Esac_mirmidon (https://mega.co.nz/#!tl0wECBD!bPXhel257z5k7oUJD7Uhl1iweDBi42X4J1wb1nwnyOY) to DCS World/Bazar/Liveries..it is really not that complicated:music_whistling:

That's exactly what I did.

 

By the way, I had "civ_" prefix in the desctiption.lua file already there before, so the files from Esac_mirmidon did no change...

please copy the Text of the "description.lua" from your Spanish UN Texture (found in Bazar/Liveries/Uh-1H/Spanish UN) here (Spanish UN is the default Texture for the UN campaign)

Well, I just copied the whole contents of uh-1h folder into /Bazar/Liveries. I didn't notice that in the Esac_mirmidon's package the folder with UN livery is called "Spanish UN et-275". After renaming it to "Spanish UN", it now works. Thanks.

Doesn't matter what I do all I see is the stupid NASA skin and both my pilots helmets are wrapped in a Huey skin to this is just ridiculous how many more hoops have I got jump through to get this back to normal.

 

At ED please check and test all updates before sending them out this is like buying a new car and having to assemble it myself.

rename your Bazar/Liveries/Uh-1H Folder to Uh_1H_old or something, and copy the Uh-1H Pack from Esac mirmidon to the Bazar/Liveries Folder..then all Stock Paintjobs must work. Custom Paintjobs need manual tweaking like mentioned before

Thanks Lizzard its almost right but not quite I get the UN white Huey now but the roof is green as is the engine cowling and the top portion of the boom fro exhaust back to tail rotor.

 

Can you suggest anymore hoops for me to jump through.

Could you please Post the Text of the description.lua of your Spanish UN Skin?! Mine works fine just checked it. If you have copied the Folder from Esac properly there should be another Spanish UN Skin named "Spanish UN et-275" you could try that Skin

the description.lua seems right (the empty Line between Row 8 and 9 is there in the Original description.lua?!), have you checked the Texture Files in the Package..are all the Files there, and show the Spanish UN Chopper?! Do you have this Problem just with the UN Skin, or with all Skins?!

Yes Lizzard the empty line is there all textures there and Spanish UN chopper is there to and yes its pretty much like this with all my skins, but I don't fly looking at the bird from the outside cockpit is all fine for me.

hmm..if you have really a clean Version of Esac mirmidon`s Pack, and still Problems..it seems like you have a major fault somewhere..

 

Have you Custom Skins? If yes..disable them for a test..or at least make sure they are all o.k. (description.lua contains civ_uh1 Entrys and so on)

 

Have you ever installed an Skin via the Bazar/Temp Textures Folder..check that no Uh-1 Skin File is in that Folder!

 

If you have Custom Skins..how do you install them? manually or with a Mod-Manager?!

 

Have you other Mods, that may prodcue Problems?! Disable Them

 

Are the wrong Texture Files everytime the Same..or are your UH-1 Skins a wild mix of Nonsense?! Screenshots..

I´m very sorry for the error with the spanish UN skin.

 

In my squad we have a edited UN spanish skin, more accurated than the stock one, and i´ve replaced the original with this new skin.

 

This is why the UN campaign don´t show the corrected skins.

 

Very sorry for that.

 

 

If you like my edited skin please use this link to replace the campaign folder.

If you don´t like it please download again my new edited liveries folder, now with the original Un nations skin corrected also, so stock campaing should show correct skins now.
