Quite nice -- but not sure how it fits in with the physics of the world -- sounds windy, yet rotors aren't moving like they usually do.

The Definition of "Ambient" is the immediate surrounding area. That is why the Rotors aren't moving, they are not a part of the Surrounding Area.

I'm not talking about hearing the rotors -- I'm just saying if the wind is blowing as hard as it sounds (you can hear gusts of winds because of the new sound engine), the rotors should be moving. Like this:
