holy shit, wtf pwnage score, highest i seen was just over 10k with 2 78 512s but it never had a fx60, it had a 3800dc chip, but holy shit 11k in 3d06 is MASSIVE.

his score in 3d06 is just roughly what mine was on my old 4400dc rig on 3d05.

he had to be using nitrogen to get that score, water cooling aint gonna do that, thats for sure.

the video is a divx codec vid, so make sure you have divx installed.

Downloading NET 1.1 Problem

Hi Scotty

Thanks for your help so far: downloaded and installed Coolbits .... just great ..... and am taking OCing in very, very, small steps.;)

But having trouble with nHancer. It directs me to a site for download MS NET FRAMEWORK v1.1 but can never hook up to download. Went to a German site as an alternative but finished downloading Version 2.0 which nHancer did not seem to recognise. Is there somewhere else you could send to get a download of V1.1?

Thanks Wombat

ok

you need dot net framework for nhancer 1.1 is the version you need, you can get it from windows updates.

there is also a newer version version 2 that you downloaded, but you cannot use nhancer version 1.2.2 you need to use the beta version of nhancer for dot net framework 2.

its all on the nhacer website, but since you have installed dot net 2, you need to use the beta version of nhancer that is designed to be used with dot net 2.

if you can, uninstall version 2, and then goto windows updates and get the original 1.1, once you have installed that, then reboot, then go back to windows updates and get the patch, as if you dont get the patch, it will make you have to login manually everytime you restart your pc.

so do this.

windows updates, get 1.1.

install

reboot

go back to windows updates and get the 1.1 patch.

then install nhancer.

i,i patch?

go back to windows updates and get the 1.1 patch.

then install nhancer.

Sorry Scotty but what is the name of the 1.1 patch?

Tried loading nhancer without it but get an error message:

"There is an error in XML document (1002, 4)"

Is it a .NET patch or nHancer Patch?

ow

no you need to download the xml document from nhancer website, its because of a problem with the simpsons in the nvidia profiles, once you download the new xml document then you are ready to go.

It isnt a dot net problem so dont uninstall dot net.

I will link you to the xml document download.

you have to have either dot net 1.1 with its patch which with that you need to use nhancer 1.2

or

if you installed dot net 2, then you need nhancer 2 beta that is only for use with dot net 2.

but either way, you need the new xml document

get the new xml document here : http://www.nhancer.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=118

but you need either dot net 1.1 with its patch that you can get both from windows update website, or you need dot net 2 which you can also get from the windows update site.

just remember that.

dot net 1.1 and its patch needs nhancer 1.2

and

dot net 2 need nhancer 2beta

both still need the new xml document as nvidia have a mistake in there's

the xml document goes into the system or system32 folder, its all on the link above.

also read the www.nhancer.com website for more tips.

Just to make sure

Scotty ...... this is what I have downloaded:

nVidia Drivers

71.89

81.85

81.98

83.40 This is loaded and I'm very happy with it and don't want to change it.

.NET Framework

Version 1.1 (.4322.573) Which is loaded

Version 2.0 (.50727.42)

nHancer

Version 1.1 (.99) Which is loaded

So ...... in summary I have:

nVidia Driver 83.40 ....... .NET Framework V1.1 ....... nHancer 1.1 installed

If I change nHancer version 1.1 to 1.2.2 will this fix my problem?

Thanks Wombat

lemme see what version of nhancer is on the site.

brb

ok, you have an old version of nhancer if your using 1.1

the latest for dot net 1.1 is nhancer 1.2.2 or thereabouts.

uninstall the old 1.1 nhancer you have and goto

www.nhancer.com and at the very top of the page you will see the words setup with a link to the 1.2.2 download.

download it, install it and then once you have did that, dont start it up, download the new xml file that is linked to in my previous post and put it in the system32 folder i think it is, its all explained where to put it in the link above.

but here is the link again

http://www.nhancer.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=118 = new xml file that you need

then once you have put the new xml file in its new plavce it will ask you to overwrite the old one, click yes to overwrite, once thats done you can startup nhnacer...

recap.

you need dot net framework 1.1 with its latest patch which you can get both from windows updates, then you need nhancer 1.2.2 and then you need the new xml file.

since you installed various dot net programs you may encounter problems, I really dont know.

also, you cannot use nhancer 1.2.2 with dot net 2, nhancer 1.2.2 is only to be used with dot net 1.1

also, read the http://www.nhancer.com website and forums. its a must, thats why you have been having problems.

ive posted in the nhancer forums for ya, look for the thread xml error 4,3

the dude will answer when he gets time, just keep looking back and he will hopefully have an answer for you, as I dont.

only thing i can think of is, with all the little probs you had installing it, maybe there is left over files or corrupt files or i dunno, am just guessing but look at this thread and see if the dude who made nhancer can help you out with that error.

the dude replied, but it isnt much of an answer, if you have already inserted the fixed xml file into the sys32 dir, then it should work, but he says for you to try the beta version of nhancer or use the fixed xml which you have already done.
