problem with hosting

Hi guys,

 

I have a problem. I want to host a server for some friends, 3 players at all, with password. Last week, all was fine.

 

Today, my buddies didn't see my server in the list, direct ip connecting didn't worked, too.

 

 

I have tried:

+ to give them my IP adress to ping on my machine -> works fine

+ 2 different provider (1x cable with only modem direct connection; 1x dsl with router/ ports forwarded)

+ to delete the files autoupdate.settings, network.cfg and network.vault under users/savedgames/DCS/Confi

+ the DCS repair function

+ restart my computer

+ tried different missions

+ to dissable TARS

 

 

We alle have DCS 1.2.6.

 

 

But now, I don't have any ideas anymore ....

Any help/ ideas?

Normally we've found that everyone's speed setting set to LAN was imperative- recently however I've seen at least 1 situation where taking it off LAN actually allowed it to work.

 

I'm talking with another guy now too- we're trying everything to get him up and running but we're not having much luck. Actually, not having any luck.

 

What IP does it show on your server when you fire it up? Recently I had some 127.0.0.1 address show up for some reason... I fluked my way out of that one somehow... but it prevented me from hosting for a little while.
