Reaper One Posted September 20, 2013 Posted September 20, 2013 Hi there, I'm looking for members for my new squad (The Grim Reapers). It doesn't matter how good you are, the only important thing is that flying is fun for you. It just should be a bunch of nice people in a friendly environment. I'm Reaper one, a german sim-pilot and I'm flying for about 5 years now (General Aviation) and one year ago I started flying the A-10C. Since this year, I also fly the P51-D as well as the UH-1H. In the squad, you may fly every aircraft (but I would also be glad about a wingman in another A-10C :smilewink::joystick:) so it's your choice what you want to do. Anyone interested? Strut Posted September 22, 2013 Posted September 22, 2013 Well done Reaper One, your stepping into the realm of dealing with the foibles of human relationships, so i offer some advice that i know people running some Squadrons dont understand : dont be 'Anal Retentive' to the point of dictatorial , remember its just a sim / game, if your going all the way and setting up a Squadron website dont use your sudden found power to 'spy', or 'eavesdrop' on members private messages or conversations. Just remember to be fair , firm and friendly. And the minute you start to feel paranoid that you are imagining personal slights and inventing mutinies its time to quit. Some people are just not capable of understanding the meaning of leadership or command. Apart from that have fun mate and good luck. Our new members are: Hydra Bartek Ribis (inflight: CookiMonster) Welcome to the squad and have fun :) We had some fun and training sessions now and I like to thank you all for flying. I think, we all learnt much during the last few days and I hope that we will keep on learning new things and getting better :smilewink: We are also able to host a server now but it is not online 24/7. Usually you can find it in the evening when we are flying but it may happen that we have no time to get airborne at times and therefore the server stays cold and dark at these days.
