Hello

I have Lockon Flaming cliffs and it really kicks ass.

I bought also the trackir4 pro and it works just wonderfully with lockon.

Now my question is, when i look around and then back in front of me, the view snaps to the front view. so its not like smooth moving. It always snaps back.

So when i look in front of me i can't make like milimeter movements to left or right. Other games like il2, fs2004 or gtr dont have that snapping.

So maybe some setting in lockon?

Can someone help me? Its not that big problem but i was wondering if it was possible.

thanks in advance

Hmm... I have a trackIR 2 so I can't really say anything about the 4's software... but I would say go into the Natural Point software and look at the settings you have for tracking.. there may be some kind of snap back view and/or dead zone setting that somehow got programed to kick in only when lock on is ran... also, there should be a precision button you can press and it will smooth out and reduce the movement so you can.. well be precise :p ... other than that I'm not experiencing that problem.

It's not LOMAC. It's the settings on your track IR. I'm assuming (I own a TIR2) that you still have the individually adjustable "edit points" You keep the speed values low for the "lower" edit points (closest to the point of center) so that you can more easily control fine movements of yer melon. As you move away from center (higher # edit points) you can increase the speed values more and more for quicker reaction.

In general the farther away the reflective dots are from the unit- the higher the values will have to be- but the key is a steady increase in speed

Example: This may NOT be suitable for you. My reflective dots are approximately 3 feet away.

(Left to right on the slider)

Edit point # 0 is set to a speed of 7

#2 is set to a speed of 7

#5 is set to a speed of 9

#10 is set to a speed of 16

#20 is set to a speed of 21

#30 is set to a speed of 25

#40 is set to a speed of 25

#50 is set to a speed of 26

It sounds like you may have it on Deadzone which will do like you say, check it out and see, and if it is change it to aggressive which i find works best, also turn down your smooth panning to about 16 which helps.
