It tells me to get the rpm to 2700 and turn off the targeting. I do both of those things by taking my "P" lever to 2700 rpm's and I click the targeting switch it wants me to turn off so as to protect it from possible damage on landing. My manifold pressure is 30. The little helper things do not turn off and the tutorial does not continue. Is this a bug?

I have actually managed to land (not consistently mind you) by having a general idea of where everything should be (flaps, rpm's, manifold pressure etc) from outside the tutorial in a quick mission.

Thanks for any help!

I can confirm the same issue as byeohazard. I've even completely uninstalled DCS everything and reinstalled to fix other issues (which it did).

Is there a printed version of the landing tutorial? I've successfully landed many times but it would be nice to know if it is doing everything correctly.

Well, I have taken to the skys online....managed to land safely a few times with some helpful advise from fellow flyers.......but still can not get the tutorial to work lol! Love the quality of this sim....more are in my future.

I believe there was also a trigger zone in the mission that may be causing this problem if you are not within it. We would need a track recording of your flight to be sure. You can save a track of a training mission flight by launching it from the mission editor instead of the training menu.
