p51 and key assigment question

I just try to learn the wapens in the p51

I have a logitech G940 and to the stick I have one assigment for

gunfire and the second one for wapens release.

this one I put under the red button.

but it doesnot work

the guns work but there are no bomb release

any help would be appreciated for this newbee

Set the bomb-rocket selector switch to either train (which releases one bomb per button press) or both (which releases both bombs simultaneously). Then arm the bombs wiht the bomb arming switches (set them to arm, not to chem release). Then try pickling them =)

I highly recommend going through the tutorials. They will get you up to speed quickly and painlessly.

It works however I have to push F3 and then the bombs or rockets are released but if I fly in the vc cockpit F1 then it wont.

is that a known fact?
