sr12 Posted September 26, 2013 Posted September 26, 2013 I just purchased the DCS P-51D and have a problem with the cockpit view being zoomed in as far as it will go.... I cannot zoom out. I have FC3, Blackshark 2, and A-10C and none of the aircraft have that problem. I have tried the P-51D with and without my TrackIr and it keeps on zooming in automatically and then it is unplayable. Anyone know what is wrong and how to stop this? Thanks.
Foul Ole Ron Posted September 26, 2013 Posted September 26, 2013 Check if you have the zoom function in axis commands assigned to something incorrect by accident.
sr12 Posted September 26, 2013 Author Posted September 26, 2013 I found that it was a wheel on my X52 joystick that I never use was on a different mode. Now it works good.
limbo696 Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 Yep, solved my problem here when trying to set some snap views...had a joystick axis set to zoom which was automatically resetting the zoom keys function. Thanks.
SnowTiger Posted March 1, 2016 Posted March 1, 2016 I had great difficulties setting up Default Cockpit View in Mustang (and other Mods/Aircraft) for the longest time. Turns out that not only was I using the wrong selection for Zoom (originally leaning in/out to zoom exterior views too) but also not properly turning off/disabling TrackIR while trying to set default view. Once I figured these two things out, I have been able to set default views in all Mods precisely the way I want. BTW- It seems basically necessary to customize default view in Mustang ... unless you like zooming in on the No Hand Hold as opposed to the HUD !!
