Just noticed this today -- maybe it's limited to the Winter terrain?

 

That looks like classic z-fighting, two texture layers are fighting to be on top so you see this flickering - this might be correctable, if i find anything out i'll let you know.

 

edit: could you please provide the map co ordinates so i can attempt to reproduce on my end, thanks.

Ok i have found the area where the terrain flickers, but on my machine its fine and there is no flickering - this is because i use a customised surface.hlsl file which eliminates all z-fighting issues with the terrain, please try the attached file and report back (copy surface.hlsl to Bazar\shaders\terrain folder)

 

edit: this will also correct any flickering issues with craters, objects such as FARPs or burnt out vehicles (often they flicker at a distance when zoomed in) this was the original reason for this mod, seems the terrain fix is an added bonus :)

Apparently not --

 

I replayed track after replacing that file and took control of the view --- this time froze the frame for the location on the ABRIS, logs, etc. attached.
