How to hit anything with the grenade pods?

While testing I found that setting the sight to almost lowest possible deflection I could get within 50 meters of the target. Is there a chart somewhere that I can get the correct deflection angle? The dispersion from the pods themselves are not that bad and they carry lots of ammo so I imagine that once you get the aiming thing down they would be quite effective?

The grenades are "area denial" weapons and not meant to be very accurate.

 

Don´t expect to be able to aim shoot and hit particular targets.

I know this but I tested it some more and it is indeed not impossible to hit individual targets. What I can't figure out though is the elevation angle because I noticed now that even though I lower the nose on the helicopter the grenades seem to go horisontally straight, as if the pods where depressible.

Not sure, but I think the sight must be set to a certain setting inrder for the aiming cross to fit the grenades flight path.
