9.JG27 DavidRed Posted October 5, 2013 Posted October 5, 2013 hello guys, hello dear devs! ok, 126 patch including the latest update isnt the best patch so far for me personally at least... a few bugs ive observerd for now... -trackir doesnt seem to track as smooth as it used to do with all former patches prior to 126(especially when looking sideways) -online, when a server is restarting a mission, or loading a new one, either my game crashes, or i will have serious stutters/freezes for the first few minutes. also textures wont load properly it seems, and suddenly everything is really low low resolution and blurry, this is then always combined with a serious constant fps drop(the solution for me is to disconnect from the server, quit the game, restart the game and finally reconnect to the server) -yesterday i had a special bug, and it happened only once so far.... i was already flying some hours on a server,..everything was fine,....then the server loaded a new mission..(i had due to the above mentioned texture bug, restart the game and reconnect to the server) after that everything seemed fine, and i went on flying...then during a high speed turn i suddenly noticed that all my controls were gone...first i thought that this is a input loss, either because of my stick is going to die, or because a input bug gamewise....all my controls were suddenly gone...i was just about to quit and restart to see if its curing the problem, as a few seconds later my controls jumped back in working... a bit confused i just went on.... a few minutes later that same thing happened again, in a similar situation, and then everything was clear suddenly when i watched my turn and my airspeed....my pilot physically blacked out, but visually i still could see everything...there was no indication at all for a blackout, not even the smallest tunnel vision, except that all of a sudden my controls were gone... i tested this then several times, and it was reproducable every single time... a reconnect to the server cured the problem though... i know, this is supposed to be in the bug section, but as ive written now several bugs, im not sure where to place this exactly...but if some moderators find a better thread or section for my post, feel free to move the thread/post,...not that you need my permission anyway....
BRooDJeRo Posted October 5, 2013 Posted October 5, 2013 (edited) Also keep in mind that many servers are simply 'homegrown' machines on very moderate internet quality. There could be many more reasons why you experience something. Some are also juggling around with self written code in missions or are testing stuff out while you're flying a mission and what not on the same machine. Edited October 5, 2013 by BRooDJeRo
