nobrot Posted October 5, 2013 Posted October 5, 2013 What would be the difference between using ST or DT toggle switches when interfacing using GGG GPWiz40 with Helios? is there a difference in how they work with that setup? I want to order switches but don't want to order the wrong types!! Real world pilot, budding virtual world hog driver... My Build Thread http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=1855253#post1855253
0utLAW Posted October 5, 2013 Posted October 5, 2013 no need for DT, unless you wanted to control something else at the same time when you flip the switch. I want to order switches but don't want to order the wrong types!! Don't confuse double throw with double pole. Double throw is usually ON-OFF-ON type configuration. Or in A10 terms ARM-SAFE-TRAIN. Double pole means the switch controls two different circuits. Not a whole lot of use in a pit, unless you using one circuit to signal the game, and the other circuit to control something in the physical pit (maybe flood light switch). In interest of completeness single throw is usually ON-OFF like a light switch. Single pole means just one circuit through the switch.
0utLAW Posted October 6, 2013 Posted October 6, 2013 Yeah sorry. Totally mis-read that. :blush::music_whistling: i7-8700k 3.70mhz|64GB DDR4 G.SKILL Ripjaw V 3200|ASUS ROG STRIX GeForce RTX 2080 8G GDDR6|AsRockZ390 Extreme4|2 Samsung 870QVO 1TB, 1 Samsung 860 QVO 1TB, 1 Samsung 860EVO 500GB|Corsair 750D|Corsair H-100i|Corsair AX750|LG 34GN850-B|Acer UT241Y|TM Cougar MFDs| Buddyfox UFC|TM Warthog HOTAS(Modified Spring/Slew Control Stick, Upgraded PCB, Stick Extension)|Saitek Combat Pedals|Corsair Nightsword|Corsair K70|TrackIR5|Custom A-10C Panels|
