Bombs on autodrop?

I pull the A-10A out of the shelter one time a month only. I just recognized bombs get dropped automatically if flying into the CCIP solution, I didn't have any to depress the button. Is this normal? I can't recall it being this way at my last flight some weeks ago (maverick locks actually worked fine back then...)
