Fast align

Hi guys,

 

today I tested the fast align/ alt align in the A-10C. From the beta (IIRC), I read somewhere (maybe in the flight manual), that the fast align takes 2 minutes, instead of 4 minutes with the normal ground align.

 

But today, the indication "time" was 4.0.0.8, too. Given that the fast align isn't described in the flight manual, did I misunderstand something wrong?

 

I started my hawg up, for the test I started the alt align at the end of the ramp start procedure, to observe the alignment process in the CDU.

 

PS: I don't mean the inflight alignment.

The only fast align I'm aware of is when the mission is set up with in air or hot on runway starts. In those cases it starts up aligned.

Nope, according to the flight manual there are 3 alignments:

 

+ normal ground alignment

+ alt alignment (fast align, for a scramble for example)

+ inflight alignment

 

I don't mean the "hot ramp start" and not the "start in the air".
