stubz Posted October 21, 2013 Posted October 21, 2013 For good reason* my collective is bound to two keys, and not a given axis. So there is no fine tune option. However, I cannot reproduce a smooth ascent/ decent. The briefest 'click' on my collective keys will change the engine torque meter by 15 psi. That's when I'm sharp about it. I estimate less than 1 second of key pressing would change the psi by 100. How can I adjust things so that the collective up / down bound keys change the engine torque MUCH less in the same time? * The two keys sit under my thumb on the flight stick right next to the hat switch. It's comfortable, and I find it intuitive to control the roll/pitch/yaw/collective with one hand.
Fifi Posted October 21, 2013 Posted October 21, 2013 I'm afraid keys/buttons can't be enough precise for the collective. Honestly, try it mapped on an axis like a throttle...very easy handling! If you have the chance to get double throttle hotas, one is for RPM, the other for collective. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

Unless the function is accessible within a lua file, where it can be modified, and someone knows where that is, there may not be a solution to your problem.
