How to get weapons to work

I am using the SU-25T (free) plane. By default the space bar is the trigger, but doesn't seem to work. pressing 6 and C does not fire the cannon. I notice no other weapon works either. I have the Logitech 3D Pro, and I can't set the trigger as a functioning key for some reason. I can set the profile through the Logitech Flight stick itself for the trigger to be the space bar, but space doesn't seem to work either. In air to ground mode (7) rockets will not fire either. This is quite aggravating. any help is greatly appreciated. Please advise and thank you. :)

Move your default keyboard configuration file out of C:\Users\YourName\Savegames\DCS\Input\ and let DCS create a new one from scratch (will happen automatically when the game loads and doesn't find your old keyboard config). Then try re-binding the key.

For most weapons you need to "press and hold" the weapon release button for them to fire.

The canon is the only exception to this i believe.

 

Also, for bombs, rockets and A-G missiles you need to be in Air to Ground mode (7).

You also need to be in range, and have LA, Launch Authorized cue on the HUD.

 

Could try using the Launch Override though. From memory key combination is either;

Lshift W

Lalt W

Lctrl W

 

And then try firing weapons.
