nickexists Posted November 30, 2013 Posted November 30, 2013 I checked in the manual to see what CMBT ON/OFF was in the a-a mode of the tgp and it says that when set to on the laser is able to fire. I'm wondering though what the purpose is of the laser for air to air engagements?
ralfidude Posted November 30, 2013 Posted November 30, 2013 Make the enemy shit their pants if they have a MWS system. :) You should try it on KA-50s. They start to panic when lazed and they have no clue where it's coming from hahahaha. [sIGPIC]http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b66/ralfidude/redofullalmost_zpsa942f3fe.gif[/sIGPIC]

This works, :D I have pointed the laser at a few Ka-50's while online, the pilots go nut's not knowing where it's coming from. nickexists Posted November 30, 2013 Author Posted November 30, 2013 That's pretty cool that that works. There's got to be another use for the laser in a-a mode or why would they have designed it that way?
mvsgas Posted November 30, 2013 Posted November 30, 2013 For ranging. To get an accurate range AFAIK. To whom it may concern, I am an idiot, unfortunately for the world, I have a internet connection and a fondness for beer....apologies for that. Thank you for you patience. Many people don't want the truth, they want constant reassurance that whatever misconception/fallacies they believe in are true..
