Information This small mod makes it possible to load the AN/ALQ-184 ECM pod on the A-10C at stations 1 and 11. It does not overwrite or replace the AN/ALQ-131 ECM pod in any way, it is an addition to the selectable load. In reality the -184 is an improved ECM pod compared to the -131. However, this improvement comes mainly from technical differences regarding what happens 'under the hood'. Since the fact that the current modeling of countermeasures in the DCS series is simplified anyway, a -184 would not be cheating as it does not offer better ECM perfpormance in-game anyway. I mean you've spent a lot of time to have it properly displayed in armament screen and there's a nice 3D model of it but it's functionality remains the same so what's the point? Its function is simplified anyway, regardless whether you carry the 131 or 184.
