joedreamliner787 Posted December 15, 2013 Posted December 15, 2013 After owning the F16 HOTAS and now the A10 Warthog wouldn't it be great if Thrust-master made a replica of the UH-1H Collective Stick and Cyclic. I believe they should also try and make replica rudders for the A10, F16 and Anti Torque for the UH-1H. What do you guys think? ~Joe
NeilWillis Posted December 15, 2013 Posted December 15, 2013 We can hope I guess. I'd love a cyclic setup, and rudder pedals to match Thrustmaster's build quality and fidelity
cichlidfan Posted December 15, 2013 Posted December 15, 2013 I think there is no possibility of TM making pedals ever again. They would have done it by now. ASUS ROG Maximus VIII Hero, i7-6700K, Noctua NH-D14 Cooler, Crucial 32GB DDR4 2133, Samsung 950 Pro NVMe 256GB, Samsung EVO 250GB & 500GB SSD, 2TB Caviar Black, Zotac GTX 1080 AMP! Extreme 8GB, Corsair HX1000i, Phillips BDM4065UC 40" 4k monitor, VX2258 TouchScreen, TIR 5 w/ProClip, TM Warthog, VKB Gladiator Pro, Saitek X56, et. al., MFG Crosswind Pedals #1199, VolairSim Pit, Rift CV1
Scrim Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 I don't care about replica rudders pedals. Let's face it, +95% of all consumers just put them under the desk where they can't be seen. High quality, yes, but replica, can't see much of a point in it. Btw, Galactic Pancakes (they've got a thread in this subforum) are taking pre-orders for a full length Huey collective. I've already got mine ordered.

I just PM'd Galatic Pancakes Thanks for the info but I see everything for a cyclic but not a collective. Edited December 17, 2013 by joedreamliner787
streakeagle Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 I would want real and/or replica rudder pedals for the same reason I have a a real F-4 stick, semi real ejection seat, and Warthog HOTAS: authentic shape/size/durability and feel. I could care less whether I can see them or not. It is expensive and time consuming to make my own controls. My F-4 stick cost me a lot more than my Warthog. So having someone like Thrustmaster make a reasonably realistic and fairly high quality replica at a fraction of the price is great for me. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

The only issue I have with my Warthog is the fact the throttle has plastic vs my F-16 HOTAS is mostly 100% metal construction. I am trying to locate a machinist to take the plastic parts and replicate them in metal and rebuild with 100%. I even have a pair of the Nomex flight gloves in Olive green :D what's next, maybe a flight suit?
