Hi,

When trying to install my ka-50 purchase from avsim into dcs world I receive a msg 'Can't install ka-50 1.2.6.19532 into newer dcs world 1.2.6.20768. Please donwload ka-50 1.2.6.20768 installer.'

The avsim downloads for ka-50 and a10c are outdated and won't install into dcs world. So I downloaded from the dcs site the latest ka-50 and it installed fine but my key from my purchase on avsim won't work with the download from dcs .

Would anyone have any idea how to resolve this? If AVSIM would host the most current release it might help. I just purchase on Dec 6 and just finished my new pc build.

Thanks for any help,

Tom

Thanks for the reply skatezilla.

So I should revert my dcs world to match my aircraft module versions from avsim? I tried the reverse which was to download the latest aircraft modules from dcs but my avsim keys wouldn't work.

Log into Module manager, and see if it prompts you to install the new module,

If it doesnt

Run DCS_Updater Command Line:

DCS_Updater.exe install KA-50

if DCS is installed to it's default path, then you can copy/paste this into the Run Run.

WinKey+R to bring up Run Dialog.

C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\Bin\DCS_Updater.exe install KA-50

Thanks expert, that worked perfectly. I wasn't even aware of the key binding process. Is this what should be done for each module purchased reagrdless of where it's purchased?

Black shark is working great on my new pc build and next I'll be trying the A10-C.

Thank you both for your replies.
