First off, what exactly are they changing as far as the FC3 aircraft?

 

Second, what's up with the F-15C? I heard for a while that they were planning on doing a specific module for it, and assumed it would be on the same level as the A-10C. Is this the case? Or was this tuneup they're doing with FC3 all it was?

The main changes are advanced flight models and 6dof cockpits. The fc3 planes are the same as the individual modules without the lockon requirement. As for the F15 an afm possibly somewhere down the road a dcs module. However there has been nothing concrete stated. There is an F15e from a third party coming.

Incoming F-15C DCS-World FC3 addon is FC3 level simulator. It's not as complex in featured sytems,avionics, sensors etc as pure DCS:A-10C and DCS:Ka-50 addons are.
