Looking for a fairly serious home

Hey all,

 

I've browsed the squadron directory and specific company sites but figured I would give posting here a chance too. I'm fairly green to DCS World but am a fast learner and I'm resolved to master this sim and all it has to offer. Now that I have some proper flight gear and rookie hours under my belt, I'm really hoping to find a crew to make new sim friends who would be willing to take me under their wing to help with the multiplayer learning curve.

 

I love both the KA-50 and A-10C and really don't mind if my crew has an aircraft requirement, I am better with the 50 but recognize the hogs advantages and just need more practice with fixed wing. I'm also not really looking for a very casual crew, I play a lot and I'd like to find some folks that intend to do missions properly and often - not to say I want all business & no fun, but I think doing this properly is more rewarding and fun. :)

 

I should clarify that I'm not against a casual group that takes their missions seriously, not necessarily saying I'm looking for a hardcore military group! Folks with high play/flight time is important, weekend flights aren't enough for me.

When I use the word casual it means we don't adhere to strict military doctrine like some squads. We do take missions seriously however. If you are looking for something more structured and military oriented perhaps THIS would suit you better. It's a great group of guys that take things to the next level.

This might be a little more up your street if your looking for a more serious crew!

 

These guys really know their stuff, you'll be hard pressed to find a more knowledgeable air to ground Squadron.

 

And they have just started recruiting so you may be in luck :)

Thanks Mav, they actually just closed their US recruitment and I was worried my current level of experience was a bit low. Otherwise, that does look like a great bunch =)

 

Also, thanks again Blooze I might have to hop on your TS and say hello. Hopefully you guys fly often.

You're welcome to check us out. We're not hardcore MilSim, but we do like large scale, integrated missions (ground command, CAS, CAP, SEAD all in the same mission). We're Russian aircraft centric, which does include the Ka-50 (in fact we've just started integrating the Ka-50 as a consistent part of our mission designs).

 

We're still fairly small, so we know each other pretty well - and there's a small cadre that's around most nights.

 

Our server and TS are publicly accessible - so feel free to drop in any time (we're usually on evenings EDT).
