Since the F-15 will never have a clickable cockpit, will ALL subsequent future DCS aircraft have a clickable cockpit? As much as I love DCS, I find my self, occasionally, going back to Falcon BMS where I do not have to remember so many keystrokes.

Easiest solution if you don't want to remember keystrokes is to map things onto your HOTAS.

a) I'm not sure the F-15 will never have a clickable cockpit.

b) Probably not, as there are 3rd party designers almost in the game now. Maybe some will have it, and some will not. Look at the Hawk - it's supposed to have it, but it can be turned off for those who want to use keyboard.

Are you SURE that the F-15 will never have a clickable cockpit? that is the whole reason I just went on the forum. And BTW, Does anyone know about future DCS modern fighter releases?

In a post some time ago I think Wags talked about taking an incremental approach with the F-15, so it could eventually be at the same level as the A-10C, with a clickable cockpit. I'll see if I can find that post. (Also RAZBAM is working on a (presumably) clickable pit F-15E)

Well this is the closest I could find. I thought there was something more substantial regarding potential future development. It could be an error of my interpretation.

The "DCS Flaming Cliffs" modules allow us to develop the more detailed "DCS" titles in a more iterative way.

Found it.

This is not to say that we will not also continue to create very high level of detail simulations. At a later point, we will further develop these aircraft [F-15 and Su-27] to include mouse clickable cockpit and the same level of detail as the DCS: A-10C Warthog, but that is a massive effort that will take time.
