CrackerJack Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 Just bought FC3. I also have A-10C which is what I have been spending all my time on until now. Have the TM Warthog and Saitek Combat Pedals. I found a F-15C config script for my stick in the DCS download area. So my questions: 1 - In the control setup only the Thrustmaster Virtual Game Controller shows up instead of a separate joystick and throttle? In this case the throttle levers do not control left and right independently. Left and right engines are linked? 2 - I tried to map my pedal toe brakes to a control setting but there doesn't appear to be any brakes on the F-15C? 3 - I assume the FC3 cockpits are not clickable like the A-10C? 4 - I see that there is an A-10A FC module what does this get me that I don't have with FC3? 5 - I noticed that there are only 2 missions for the F-15 and one campaign. Is most of the action multi-player? Win 10 64-bit, Intel Core i7-7700k@4.2GHz, MSI 1080Ti , 16 GB, 500GB SSD, LG 34UM95, Acer T232HL, TrackIR 5 Pro, Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS, Saitek Combat Rudder Pedals.

It is the same aircraft just sold separately. 5. I can't really answer that. CrackerJack Posted January 26, 2014 Author Posted January 26, 2014 That was a fast response, thank you! What other choice do I have but to have Target running? cichlidfan Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 (edited) Target is only useful if you have a script designed for that aircraft/game. If Target is not running then you just have a throttle and stick (like any other) that can be programmed in game. EDIT: I just read, and processed, where you said you had a profile for the stick. In that case having just one column under controls is normal. anongw65 Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 I have a question along the same lines. I have the HOTAS Wartog joystick and throttle and the Saitek pro pedals. I do not use the software that came with any of the controllers, and, therefore, all my controllers show up in my config window. I then saved the config file. Once FC3 became available on Steam, I picked it up. When attempting to set up the F15C config screen, I loaded up my previously saved config file that I set up for the A-10C. The number of "actions" on the config screen increased dramatically. There are MANY more options than, say, the Mig-29. I can clear the columns, but the number of actions remain the same instead of defaulting back to the more minimized set. Sorry for the long story, but my question is how do I get back the default? I unloaded DCS World via Steam and then reloaded it, but I still did not get back the default.

Comes Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 2. There is not a brake axis in the F-15 What about the A 10 and the SU 25? Should there be a brake axis? Cause I don't have one.
G00dnight Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 no wheel brakes are on a button press in FC3 & FC3 standalone aircraft, you cant set it to your pedals but you can set it to a stick button I have mine set on the unused mic press on TMWH throttle.
