buedi Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 Hi everyone, I did not fly the Shark for a while, so I´m not sure if this happend in the latest update or at an earlier one. Also searching for trim and sound here in the forum did not show my posts describing this. Is it possible that the sound has been removed you heard earlier when pressing the trim button? You can also hear it very good in this video and for me it gave always a good audible feedback when trimming. I wonder if something´s broken on my side, because I cannot hear the trim sound anymore.
Nedum Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 It's still there. You have to set trimm again after the new patch. ShuRugal Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 why is the center piper in that HUD turned 180 degrees compared to the piper in the sim?
Davis0079 Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 maybe hes on the other side of the world It only takes two things to fly, Airspeed and Money.
buedi Posted January 26, 2014 Author Posted January 26, 2014 It's still there. You have to set trimm again after the new patch. Good point. I read that you have to reset and reconfigure the input config for the Huey, but I probably missed that something changed in the input configuration for the Shark too in the changelog  I only hopped in for some quick tests in the Shark today and did not realize that Trim might not work at all. Today someone else in Teamspeak also told me that he still has the Trim sound, so I´m confident it´s just the setting for trim which got lost on my side.
BitMaster Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 Hey, actually you have to rework all of your AC's joystick/keyboard settings..... I found that out the hard way, join MP and then see OMG that button don't work... I had to reset all axes for dead zones and degressive curves and air brakes in general where also gone...and many others. Davis0079 Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 ok, instead of being a smart ass all day...I went ingame and can say, 'I do have the trimmer sounds.".....first thing I would do is check to make sure you are keybound to the trimmer like before the patch....next, I would do a repair, in the windows start menu, under all programs, in the Eagle Dynamics folder/DCS World/ Repair DCS World..... ...after that if still no sound come here and report your pc type, OS type, mods installed...blah, blah blah..... It only takes two things to fly, Airspeed and Money.
