Pilot shows dead how do I continue to use the profile?

I have many flight hours on that person and awards. I don't want to lose them. How do I make my pilot active again?

Maybe try editing x:\Users\xxxxxx\Saved Games\DCS\MissionEditor\logbook.lua and setting line 7, ["invulnerable"] = true with notepad++.

xxxxxx = your windows username.

 

Not sure if that will work TBH. But that's how mine is set.

Search in the said file for "["dead"] = true," and replace "true" with "false".

 

Use notepad++ not windows notepad.
