Lucas_From_Hell Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 I came across this article yesterday, a list of 5 air shows to not miss: http://trekeffect.com/blog/5-air-shows-every-aviation-enthusiast-must-visit While I think only 5 is a bit cramped, it turned out pretty good to me at least (Flying Legends and Le Bourget bias here :D) Your thoughts? :)
Kaiza Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 Axalp is on my bucket list. [SIGPIC]http://img856.imageshack.us/img856/2500/a10161sqnsignitureedite.png[/SIGPIC]
Hans-Joachim Marseille Posted January 30, 2014 Posted January 30, 2014 (edited) RNLAF air show, this year at Gilze-Rijen (The Netherlands). This year's theme is air support. It usually has all the big Western-European display teams (Patrouille de France, Frecce Tricolori, Red Arrows), and more. Edited January 30, 2014 by Hans-Joachim Marseille
Joe Kurr Posted January 30, 2014 Posted January 30, 2014 IMO Le Bourget can be missed. I stopped going there several years ago, due to high fences, bad runway visibility and unfriendly attitude towards foreign visitors. My top 5 at the moment (in no particular order): - RIAT - Flying Legends - RNLAF Airforce Days - MAKS (mainly because of the Russian hardware, they dropped a bit since they started using high fences as well) - Farnborough Dutch Flanker Display Team | LLTM 2010 Tiger Spirit Award
