My problem is that the sim just freezes on me whenever I try to change a view or close flaps that I now want closed. Furthermore the 'Esc' key doesn't function anymore neither does the usual Ctrl-Alt-Delete. All that after 1.2.8 going in. And 1.2.7 was running perfectly. I too have sent off a plea for help. Grrr.

Mmm....so if that didn't light any fires could some helpful soul tell me into which folder my BS1 and 2 should be located. Currently BS is stowed into "C\Prog Files (x86)\ Eagle Dynamics\Ka-50 but within that last section there is no sign of BS2. Advice much appreciated.

Having paid for the d/load version, and having already installed World and the boxed BS 1, despite contacting that helpful Russian I have yet to get BS 2 to appear. On the World GUI the icon shows that I've paid for it but nothing of it appears within the Module Manager...only Black Shark. Some suggestions would be most welcome. Is it possible to buy BS2 on a disc? Thanks, folks.

Going into the DCS Module Manager I am asked to copy the Serial Number of my recently installed BS 2 onto my clipboard. Initially I put it onto my Notepad and then tried to copy/paste it across. Didn't work. There didn't appear to be any way in which I could enter it directly into the blank rectangle. Any hints, folks?

I bought BS 2 upgrade as a download from DCS and despite being able to insert my Serial key, and apparently activating BS 2, I still see only Version 1 on the flash screen. Any solutions to this? I have been mailing back and forth with their IT team but they haven't enabled me to overcome this problem. In summary, I've paid for it, activated it but am not enjoying it!

As a newbie I've just d/loaded and installed the upgrade to BS2. Now I need to update it for patches. Having d/loaded the 1.1.1.1, I've learned that I need the 1.1.1.0 patch as well. Can someone give me a steer for that? Many thanks.

I have tried those as well. I assume you mean such items as 'Q+Lt. Win. Not a sausage. Nowt. Nothing appears at all.

Two Six...I have the same problem. I'm still working with BS1 as I want to go through all the Training missions before installing BS2. I've tried all the combinations I can think of AND I've tried what everyone has been suggesting. However, still no joy. I am using a standard keyboard.

i'm thinking of un-installing and then re-installing BS2 to see if that might clear any lurking problem. Any thoughts, folks?

Hi, Bigfoot. The Training Screen that I see only displays the left-hand three sections...'Training Task' with the FAM course - and that functions perfectly - along with 'Lessons' (no content) and 'Description' but only as appropriate to the FAM course. No suggestion of your videos at all. Yet within the computer, following the Readme that you mention, there are all your Training missions listed within DCS BS2. Any thoughts? Most grateful for your troubling to reply.

Cold start Having installed Bigfoot's invaluable Training lessons I'd like to get started but kicking off with the Cold Start, despite holding down the Pause/Break button for all of two minutes, nothing is happening. Help, folks.

I'd like to ask about getting these Bigfoot missions installed. Because of my SSD limited storage I've removed BS1. Then, having installed PeterP's menu integration file which didn't result in any progress, I went on to d/load each of the Bigfoot training files. When I tried installing them into DCS World I found no 'Mission' section within, and being 'miz' files I can't get them to install into BS2. I'd be grateful for some guidance.

My SSD being of limited capacity, and because I've recently installed BS2, I'd like to remove all the files concerning BS1. However, I'm hesitant to dive in and would appreciate some specific, detailed advice as to those files I can safely remove. Many thanks, folks.

So far I have installed DCS World and its update and BS 1 and its update. Wishing to go on to BS2 which download do I need to buy and what are the patches I should add after that? Thanks, folks.

Help, folks with introducing curves into my stick. I've looked over Bucic's post but don't understand just how to inject that 30% curve that he recommends. Could someone give me a gentle, easy-to-understand steer. I can get as far as that Axis Tune page but then I'm stuck. Thanks.

I've solved it. At last. In Options and Controls I had selected 'Ka-50 Game' as exposed to 'Ka-50 Real' . we live, stumble and learn. OK many thanks for the help so far...doubtless I'll be back. Cheers.

So...some progress at last. If I elect to go in with 'Game play' I can easily take off and land and can readily see movement on the Collective within the pit - however, there's still no progress with the 'Simulation' setting. In addition I can see movement of the X52 throttle in the settings screen. So I saved the Profile as 'Collective.lua' and loaded that but to no avail. What's next?

Er....I didn't save it! However even that doesn't seem straightforward to me. Clicking on the 'Save' tab I then get a multiple choice menu and I assume I select 'Collective' from the drop down list? However I still don't get any movement/input from the Collective. I refuse to believe that I'm getting to old for this game!!!

I'm trying but we're not quite there yet. Following your route, Puddlemonkey I've matched that 'Joy_z' to my Saitek throttle and inverted the setting....but that doesn't appear to be the right choice. With the engines running and movement showing on the nose wheel when I twist my Saitek stick, there is no movement at all with the Collective in the pit when I move my throttle forward or back. A different 'Joy' choice seems to be solution. Any other thoughts. Is it because I'm using a X52 Pro perhaps? I am most appreciative of your help.
