  1. Okay so, say I have a mission file, and I have Russia, China, and Japan on Red, with South Korea, Australia, and USA on Blue... but then suddenly I realized half-way through building my mission that, "Oh crap wait Japan doesn't like those countries! I want Japan to be blue, and I want North Korea to be red!" But now I can't change them! Surely there is a way around the limitations with the in-game GUI to change the countries in the mission.
  2. I was about to ask this, because dumping missiles is really stupid as SEAD. Thanks!
  3. Thank you! I didn't even know that was an option.
  4. In the mission editor, there's a checkmark for "uncontrolled" when you spawn in units on a runway or helipad from the ramp. This spawns in an aircraft, but leaves it empty. How can I make it so these aircraft will become active during the mission? Do I simply use the "Activate Group" command?
  5. Ever since Flaming Cliffs 2, the Crimea map has been gone! I was quite fond of that map. I know a lot of people thought it was boring, but I quite liked it. :( How come it was removed? Surely it's not a design limitation, is it? I'd be surprised if it was. All the assets were already there. Even the terrain is still shaped correctly. Anyone care to enlighten me? I'd love to see it return someday. It was a very nice map.
  6. I see some units commented out. Do they still exist in the code, or no? Also, I have one more question. Can I slap on different armaments to some of these planes? For instance, AIM-9's on a Predator drone? Obviously you need radar or laser capabilities for some missiles or bombs to work, but I just mean in general. In Flaming Cliffs 1, I used a mod to stick an AIM-9 on a B-52 and it freakin' worked.
  7. I know it can be done, but I do not know how. I have been playing missions with Su-33's and Su-27's under the control of USA forces. Not USAF Aggressors, actual USA. However I have no mods installed, so obviously these planes are not hard coded to any nation. How can I make a mission for myself where any nation can have any aircraft? Furthermore, can I actually change the skins available for those aircraft? Because I've noticed that, for instance, USAF Aggressors do not have access to the other Su-27 skins. I don't want the same glitchiness with a USA Su-27 if I can avoid it. I ask because I notice there are several nations that should have certain planes that do not, such as Iran having F-14A's. Or maybe that's not correct, but screw it, that's what I want. :smilewink:
  8. I for one would adore seeing custom skins wrapped up with the missions we play, instead of having to download them separately as a mod. Whether or not we can repaint ourselves mid-mission is one thing, but in ArmA you can, for example, give vehicles a custom paint job that all players connecting to the server will download and see automatically unless they have custom assets turned off in their own client options.
  9. Wait so what is even the point of grass airfields, then? :( Maybe it just needs a supplier from a friendly air field?
  10. There's what I was looking for. Thank you for the swift reply! I can figure it out from here. ^^
  11. I know it can be done, but I do not know how. In many missions, there are radio commands to instruct the AI to begin an attack on an area. Adding radio commands, I understand how to do. What I do not understand is how you set the condition for an AI to begin executing their command to attack a site, or to change waypoints. In my example, I am attempting to set a mission where an F-15C (Pilot #001) intercepts a Tu-142 (Russian Recon). The intercept is not one where you actually shoot down the aircraft, but rather, just scare it out of the airspace. I have a trigger area that activates when you get close enough to the plane, but how do I get the trigger to send the command to the Russian Recon plane to change waypoints to return to base?
  12. Unless you're part of the Eagle Dynamics team and have their email, it won't help. It pisses me off how they've singled out one video out of all my videos and this video doesn't have any music or anything.
  13. Thank you. I could not for the life of me find this post. I guess I just wasn't looking in the right parts of the forum. I advise adding the keywords 'Adsense' and 'monetization' to that post so other users can find it easier with the search function.
  14. So, this still has no response. Does or does not Eagle Dynamics allow people to monetize videos they have recorded in Lock On?
  15. Why? Because YouTube refuses to let me use adsense on one of my videos (despite it being just fine on every other video on the internet with Lock On) and now I need to prove that Eagle Dynamics authorizes commercial footage of their videos. I'm pretty sure there was a law a while back where this was supposed to be legal, and it was shot down in legislation, but apparently that changed. I bought the game, do I not own the content of the video? Am I just borrowing it? Somehow, I'm pretty sure Eagle Dynamics isn't that stupid to do that to its self and its users to deny them the ability to publish videos and provide free advertizing for their game.

  17. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=57101 The thread above links to a campaign I'm working on for the Su-33. I need someone to play the voice (or voices) of a German squadron called Blackjack. This means you'll have to own a microphone to record with and you'll have to send me .wav files via Email. If you're interested, send me a private message. The mission consists of Volk protecting their aircraft carrier and its fleet from planes launching out of Turkey. Blackjack comes to escort the final wave.
  18. Ah shit! I've lost track of the email for the guy who does the Kuznetsov! >_< If you're reading this thread, shoot me a PM. EDIT: Got him back. :D
  19. Heh, that's doable. I'll shoot you a message with my email.
  20. Glad you enjoyed it. :3 The project has, unfortunately, been on hold... but I'm going to have some free time soon (finally). I just have to get in contact with the guy who does the Kuznetsov voice. I gave up getting a voice for the Moscow. The person SUPPOSED to do it keeps bailing on me and stalling the project. So I said screw it. I'll just re-write the script. EDIT: Also still looking for a one-time go on a NATO pilot voice. Can be from any NATO country featured in Lock On.
  21. Always lookin'. Winter break is coming up in a few days so I'll get to continue working on this project. Finally.
  22. Still not dead. Posting to let you guys know. :P College still has me occupied, but come Winter Break, I'll go nuts with completing a good part of this campaign. Also expect a new trailer at some point featuring more voice actors and more than just two stupid missions. :P Also better music. Not Linkin Park. Some good ol' fashioned Ace Combat. >:D The person I'm relying on for the Moscow (the cruiser) admiral's voice however continues to bail out on me, so I gave up on him. It's stalling the project. Anyone else want to help? I need an admiral for the Moscow. :O Leader of the fleet. I already have a voice for the Kuznetsov (a very good one at that) but I need another...
  23. New trailer! Just so you guys know I haven't dropped the project. School's been keeping me busy, college and all, but I'm still working on this.
  24. Hm, odd. It -should- be that once you kill all the ground targets the air field is liberated. Make sure you actually got everything. The MiGs don't have anything to do with it. Hell, they could escape and it wouldn't matter. If you can't find ANY targets, even with external views on, let me know and I'll see what's wrong because it otherwise works fine for me. I've played the mission through.
