  1. Ooooh those shots, they make you happy, outstanding! Greetings from the virtual 312 squadron from the Netherlands, our J-005 has the lead on this multinational flight.
  2. OK guys, took me some time and patience, but I succeeded. Seems that you have to push F4, approach the cockpit from the front and adjust the view with LCTRL + LSHIFT + NUM4 (or NUM6, or NUM8 or NUM2). TrackIR helps out a bit too. So, thanx again for your help.
  3. Gents, thanx a lot for your replies. I'm going to try to use your suggestions. @ Silverdevil : you're absolutely right about the scarf ! The mousewheel works, but is very rough in the changes, perhaps I should adapt the variations (make them smaller?) To be continued.
  4. Dear Viperfriends, Can anyone please explain how to setup this camera-position?
  5. Fellow Viperdrivers, Check out our latest video on Youtube and you're most welcome on our videochannel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCidn5NAvgxW-cGfpiYvK91Q
  6. Last night, we split up in two 2-ships. Jester and Whizzo did the navigation exercise, Medic and Twister took the time to intercept some SU-27's (just for practice) and afterwards found the time to do some fun stuff with burners and flares. Please, check out our first video-production (we have to learn a lot, but this looks promising, don't you think?)
  7. WFOX, I am afraid we will have to do more investigations, since in our squadron we all are using the exact same maps (NTTR, etc). Thanks again for your kind replies.
  8. Hi WFOX, thanks a lot for your input. We will try out your option to use the mission editor for sure, but our experience is that the track option (replay) works fine, also on long flights (3 hours tested). After the flight, we use the replay function for the debriefing and for editing the recorded track (of parts of it). Movies are looking great! However: in my directory ..../saved games/DCS I find the map tracks, and one of my fellow-pilots doesn't have that map. How come?
  9. Guys, one of our pilots is unable to locate the track files directory. Is it always .....saved games/DCS/tracks? What if this guy is missing this directory? Thx for your advise.
  10. "WEAPONS SAFE!" Intercepting another Dutch classic. Courtesy of the virtual 312 squadron.
  11. Purzel. Works fine now, many thanks.
  12. Hi Purzel. Thanks for your reply. I'm going to apply your suggestion now. To be continued.
  13. Hi guys. Perhaps this question already has been asked in another topic, but I can't find it right now. So, here it is: To record some fragments during our flights I am using Windows Moviemaker. To start this software the keyboard combination LWIN + ALT +G is used. To start and stop the recording the combination LWIN + ALT +R is used. You will understand that you are quite busy during the flight and you are unable to put your fingers on the keyboard, right? That's where the hotas Warthog is for! Question: Is there a knob on the Thrustmaster Warthog that can be configured to be used as start/stop for video recording? (I am aware of the replay-possibility in DCS, but that's not what I mean). Many thanks in advance for your help.
  14. Beautiful shots guys, way to go! These are from the virtual 312 squadron from the Netherlands, enjoy!
  15. Dear DCS-friends, We would like to introduce a new fresh virtual fighter squadron to the community : the virtual 312 squadron. We are 5 former members of the Virtual Royal Netherlands Air Force, now fully dedicated to the Viper. We are not recruiting at this time, but struggling hard to learn all about the F-16 as a fighter. When the time comes, and we are on a acceptable level, we will inform you about possible recruiting. In the meantime you are most welcome to check out our album, to enjoy some screenshots. Please, stay safe and healthy and .... many happy landings! Ron "Cakes" de Jong Fabian "Medic" de Jong Ed "Twister" van 't Hoofd Martin "Jester" van Binnendijk Martin "Whizzo" Friggen
  16. You're most welcome. We are here to help each other with the challenges.
  17. Hello flying friends. My name is Ed van 't Hoofd, callsign Twister (when I fly by, everything is destroyed....). I am a founder of the Virtual Royal Netherlands Air Force (check us on Facebook and website http://www.vrnlaf.nl), we are a community on P3D flying all kinds of aircraft of the RNAF, but I mainly fly the Viper for several years now. Since I was looking for a new challenge to expand my basic knowledge of the F-16, I found the DCS community with it's splendid software and....the Viper. Now I can really explore the aircraft to the bone. I started this process a couple of weeks ago accompanied by my wingman Cakes and friend Medic, both members of the VRNLAF. My experience so far : great stuff, a lot to learn, but we will succeed in completely master the Viper, be sure of that. Later on we will join the servers for the missions and even raise the virtual 312 squadron. Happy landings, blue skies and thanks for your help so far.
  18. Perhaps you added it in the wrong place? It should be placed here :
  19. thanks Thanks a lot Santus. It took me a while to scroll along all the forum topics, but luckily I found the solution which was handed elsewhere. Pfff, what a relief. zoë kravitz dating

  21. please explain Dear Viperfriends, please forgive me, I started to use DCS only two months ago, downloaded a couple of fantastic Netherlands Air Force liveries and discovered, just as you all, that after the recent update some false textures appear on the tail and intake. I read your solutions carefully, but have to admit I don't understand the instructions to get rid of these false ones. Can one of you please explain what I have to do? Thanks a lot in advance. how to upload image on internet
