It's difficult to try and remember what is said on a YouTube tutorial once I'm back in the game. Is there some way to switch back and forth from the 'tube to the game and back while in VR? Specifically WMR Reverb G2... (yeah, I know all about Windows about to brick it). Virtual desktop? Any other solution? Many of the DCS modules are lacking complete tutorial missions. The F-16 for example, which I'm currently trying to learn, has nothing on Radar. The one on the AIM9 just says to RTFM (in more polite terms... but still the same thing 🤣.

Just as an aside, Windows aren't about to brick your G2, well, not until 2026 anyway.

  2. I was in VR on Google Earth and having a look around my old hometown of Carlisle in the UK.

There is an aviation museum at the old airport and street view took me inside the Vulcan bomber XJ823, and their Percival Sea Prince, great stuff.

Is this the norm for GE and where are some other nice cockpit 'Street views'?

You come in with a Big sweeping statement & when some one questions why you think the Qpro is not a good head set you go on the defensive.

2 people asked how I came to my 'broad sweeping statement'.  I answered the first, then merely explained to the second that I had already answered the question.

No defensive stuff at all. It IS ok to have differing opinions...no?

  4. I watch Gamers Nexus for good, honest reviews (and maybe Hardware Unboxed if two or more cards are close).

I'd also recommend VR Flight Sim Guy, as he is actually using the cards in VR, exactly the content you're after. (I just wish he'd drop the 'surprised Pikachu face' thumbnails) 😄

  5. In defense of NVMe sticks, the access is very much mobo dependent. I have a Mini ITX and can access both front and rear sticks in seconds.

The front stick is a 500GB NVMe with Windows 11 only, and the rear is the 1TB games/everything else drive.

Research the plethora of options of course. The same goes for sticks themselves, read reviews.
