Cichlidfan, Putting into context how you need LOMAC original for FC3, nowhere in the description does it say that that product is to upgrade BS1 to BS2. It really looks like this is another upgrade for BS2. Since you need Lomac to run BS3, this looks similar course. Something tells me they but that statement in purposely to confuse people into buying both. I will ask for my money back,,but I don't hold out much hope.

Just bought BS 2 and BS2 upgrade. When downloading I showed that both files were successful, but I only see one file in my D drive. When I try to find out which one is missing both the BS2 and BS2 upgrade file says that there are already copies on my computer. I continued to install. I put in the serial number that came with BS2, but I haven't been asked to put in the serial number for BS2 upgrade. How do I know, or where is the install files that was downloaded before? Wouldn't they be on the D drive with BS2?

thanks... But how do I make sure that I delete the controllers needed for A10C in DCS World, and not the controllers in A10C stand alone. Is there away to tell...or is there a difference.

I have 1.2.4 version of world I have A10C stand a lone I have A10C incorporated within DCS World. My keyboard command have been duplicated in the keyboard column and the Ch Controller column...both keyboard commands and axis commands. The Axis commands are duplicated within the "CH Controller column. I.E. Rudder...has JOY RX + Joy RX and is red. I tried to hit the clear button for the CH Controller column that has all the duplicated key commands, but they re-populate when I restart and now the third CH Controller Column has missing axis inputs and I cannot add any new commands. What do you do. How do you fix this. Should I delete DCS World and re-download.

I have A10C on DCS world and am trying to assing my HOTAS Ch Fighterstick, throttle, pedal and mini stick axis. In the non A10C option, under "Sim" I had multiple assignment option under each item. For example, under any of the Ch Control manager in the options screen, I could assing axis, X, Y, Z, Slider 1, Slider 2, and many others. This was needed to assign the three different required axis for the pedals, yaw and roll controls, brakes, throttle and mini stick slew controls. But under A10C in DCS world, each CH Control Manager option is limited to the number of different axis. For example, on Ch Control Manager will only allow Slider1, X axis and Y axis. The next one only allows X axis and Y axis to be assigned. I need the various different ones for all the function that I need. Any idea on how to get the different number of axis assignments back?

I have DCS World and linked my A10C to this. However, I noticed that my HOTAS axis, TrackIR axis commands have not transferred over from my original A10C game. (I haven't checked but I doubt that the keyboard command changes that I have made probably didn't either). How can I transfer my original A10C keyboard commands and Hotas axis commands from Original A10C to the A10C within DCS World.

When buying FC3, I want to put this on my larger drive (D). However I have LOMAC (that you have to have) on my C drive. When installing FC3, would it find LOMAC in the C drive if I tried to install FC3 on my D drive that has more space. I really don't want to change my LOMAC to the drive as I got install in a file with other non-related files for LOMA and I can't figure out which files are really for LOMAC and some other program. (don't want the chance to mess up a good install).

I have the Lock on that was purchased from here,,but can't find where I put my activation code. Since it was downloaded from DCS, is there a place on the website that stores activation codes from the games downloaded?

Thanks M. I may be thick,,,but does the exe go into the DCS world folder, or anywhere in on the drive that has DCS World on it.

OK...Got DCS World now... Click on the World installer and shows that DCS A10C with a dollar sign. I have already purchased this a while ago. How do you make DCS world know that it is on my system. Both DCS world and DCS A10C is on my D drive, but in different folders. Do I just move the A10C folder into the DCS World folder? :helpsmilie:

I purchased A10C a while ago and have it on my computer. I just downloaded the DCS World, "DCS_World_1.2.4.12913_186-4.bin" When I go to my file, and click on it, it says it cannot open this file and need another type of file. It does not specify what file it is, but asks if I want to search my hard drive or the internet for it. What file is it looking for. Where can I get it.

It seems I am getting shot down very easily in Lockon with the F15. Here are my tactics. Critics were necessary. I try and engage BVR at all times when possible with the Aim120. I have the radar at 160 to 80 nm searching as much space as possible RWS mode with my jammers on.. When I have a contact, I put it to my 2 o’clock or my 11 o’clock and keep them there as much as possible. I will try and climb to about 30,000 ft. I switch to TWS mode and as the target closes in to about 60 nm, I bug each one as necessary. With my wingman, I tell him to attack one or my target depending on the aircraft identified. I turn off my jammers at about 30 nm. Throughout the whole time I am also looking at my EWS to make sure I see where they are and keeping the bandits at 2 o’clock or my 11 o’clock Once within the 20 nm mile I will try and go offensive and get a shot or defensive if he is aggressive on me and drop flare and chaff. I try and maneuver for a shot, but usually there is another aircraft that gets me or his wingman gets me.. My success rate is about 20 percent. What is the best way to defeat these buggers

I deleted the game and reinstalled as per the instrucitions. Still the same problem... I am running on Win 7 and this time I installed to C-> userfiles-> saved Games. I did not run till all patched. I run the update for starforce but it said my drivers were already updated. Still does not accept any of my activation codes. First I tried to use the one that came with the FC1 download from Eagle Dynamics...not accepted,,,,,then I tried the one from the origional disk. None worked. What do I do if Eagle Dyamics does not answer...is there a way to get my money back.

I got a new machine and wanted to install the original lockon and update it to Lockon FC1 only. I installed Lockon from CD, then installed FC1. When starting, it ask me for the activation, so first I tried the new activation code that was given to me when purchased FC1. The activation said that my code is typed incorrectly. I checked and it was not. I also cut and paste from my email confirmation and again it said it was wrong. I then tried to use the activation from my Lockon CD but again it said that my activacation code is incorrectly spelled....IT WAS NOT. I looked in the "lockon_sf_keys_12_08_2011" reg file and it shows the code to the FC1 exactly as I have it on my confirmation and is what I typed..but it won't accept this saying it is incorrectly spelled. (I am not mistaking 0 for O and it is all in caps) I tried to contact Eagle Dynamics but have gotten no response in the last 5 days....Are they still in business..or am I out of options. How can I trust other games such as Black Shark, DC10 or FC2 should I try them in the future.... What do I do now.

I just tried to install the patch from 1.00 to 1.02. It gave me an error saying it could not find "patch.bat". What do I do now.

I am just installing LOCK on my new win7 computer. I have it started,,,but I can't remember if there is any patches I should apply. I have the CD but can't find the version. I don't believe it is the platenum edition as it does not say that on the case. Also, when installed, I wanted to install to the D drive as this is where I have all my large game files stored (instead of the C drive). When installing, it said that it was not recomended to do that. Does anyone know why? I would like to move the game there to save space on my C drive.

OK, I fiqured out the problem...it is a conflict between CH pro and Lomac...If you have the same problem...the solution will fix it.

I have a problem with using mavericks in the A10. I am flying with LO1.12 using a chpro throttle where the ministick is configured to TDS slew cursor. I have the proper setup in the files for moving the designator around. I can move the designator from left and right with no problem, However if I move the designator up, it goes up as I need it but then falls to the bottom of the HUD when I designate a target or take pressue of the ministick. If I then move it left or right it follows more of a U shape on the HUD. If I stablize the Target Designator, and lock the target, as soon as I lift my thumb off the ministick, it automatically moves to the bottom middle of the HUD. I recalibrated my CH pro ministick ...but the problem presist. Any suggestions.

For what it is worth...I just landed a A10 on a roadway in the quick mission. I came in as slow as possible without stalling (about 110 kts) had full flaps, full airbrakes and came on an angle and pulled up just before touchdown. I hit the brakes and it stopped relatively quickly. Of course the people cars that I blew up were not impressed...so I hit the eject button and shot my self out of the cockpit....but the parachute opened and had me land a few feet from the plane...doh.

Problem solved.... Needed to put the word "hold" in CMC file for weapons release.... should be Hold LALT SPC....I just had LALT SPC
