  1. Interesting, It didn’t seem to be listed that way to me on Andre’s Site. Either way, I use SimShaker for Aviator’s in DCS and it works wonderfully well. I have the older GameTrix Jetseat. https://dreamsimteam.blogspot.com/p/downloads.html
  2. If I recall correctly, the JetPad is the successor to the KW 908. You should be looking at the Flight Sim Edition (FSE) which works with the software below: https://andres.shop/jetseat/24-76-vibrating-pad-simshaker-jetpad-fse.html#/11-color-black/30-additional_software_included-none The software I was referring to for DCS is SimShaker for Aviators, it is a paid license where the SimShaker Wings software is freeware with a limited use base. https://dreamsimteam.blogspot.com/p/downloads.html
  3. Andre seems to be still selling the product that replaced the KW 908. You can find it on his page here: https://andres.shop/12-jetseat You’ll just need to add SimShaker Aviator software which you can also find on his site. I use the previous generation Gametrix KW 908 seat and frankly, can’t fly without it. Totally worth the investment.
  4. Rift S Passthrough I’m not sure if I’ve missed where this was talked about or if it just hasn’t been picked up on yet but for those that may not know, the passthrough camera now works in DCS. A press of the menu button (flat, non raised key) on the right Rift S controller now enables the pass through camera view so you can see your controllers. It is also enabled in game if you remove and replace the headset while in the cockpit. A second press of the button puts you back in game.
  5. I fly exclusively with VR. I use a combination of products for tactile feel of the controls and for now I’m relying on muscle memory. The Thrustmaster MFD’s are aligned near where they are in the VR pit so their use is easy. Forgive some of my creative mounting solutions. I’m still working out placement and drawing up a more permanent IP with the interfaces hard mounted. Everything else is just a learned behavior and honestly, doesn’t do anything to take away from the immersion for me. With this setup, I can go from cold and dark to launched off the carrier without ever touching the regular keyboard. Other than the Thrustmaster Warthog and MFDs, the products are: CH products throttle quadrant (mounted upside down in the center) which provides my gear lever, tail hook, parking brake and air to air, air to ground. http://https://www.amazon.com/CH-Products-Throttle-Quadrant-300-133/dp/B0002A59Z4/ref=sr_1_2?crid=2FL0NA2BSMBL1&keywords=ch+products+throttle&qid=1559779264&s=electronics&sprefix=Ch+products+t%2Celectronics%2C169&sr=1-2 Two of these DSD button boxes (one each of the P1 and P2): https://derekspearedesigns.com/p1p2.html To model the UFC, I use this programmable keyboard and simply remove the keys I’m not using at the time. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B076LRJ528/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o09_s02?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Lastly as others have mentioned I use the JETSeat on my chair. For me, this is a tremendous immersive experience. This is the best the flight sim hobby has ever been and I’ve been at this since the very first Bruce Artwick Organization (precursor to Microsoft Flight Simulator for those that don’t know.). I am a former real world pilot and this is honestly as close as I’ve ever come. Enjoy! Talon
  6. Thanks for the link. Well done on the review. I fondly remember CS. Great site that I spent a lot of time at over the years. Certainly dating myself but I've sure spent more than my fair share of time flying combat sims since they started..way back when. :pilotfly: Let's see....in no particular order. The original Falcon Megafortress Strike Eagle (anyone remember Microprose) Flight of the Intruder F117 Nighthawk F18 Hornet Hornet Korea Falcon 3.0 Falcon 4 Gunship F14 Fleet Defender MS Combat Simulator Wow, thanks for bringing up Combatsim.com which made me stroll down memory lane.
  7. Really well done. You are giving me some great ideas.
  8. Really great idea! That looks great. I'm using a xKeys USB58 controller for my UFC. Super easy to program but they seem to be hard to come by these days. I've had mine for years and it has served me through several sims.
  9. Amazon says 1 to 3 weeks and it said the same when I ordered mine just before Thanksgiving and I had mine in a week from time of order. There is a seller on Ebay also with parts in stock.
  10. That Tipro keyboard looks like a great solution that I'll need to look in to. As others have mentioned I am also currently using an Xkeys USB58 controller (not sure if it is still available). Programming is easy as it is built in to the unit. Flip a switch on the side, touch the key on the Xkeys, touch the corresponding key or sequence of keys on your regular keyboard and then touch the key on the Xkey again. Repeat for all the keys that you want to program and then flip the switch on the side back to normal operation. Of course, I know it didn't happen without pictures....LOL.
  11. These two threads might help. This first thread is one that I started in the Multi-monitor section of the Open Beta forum asking for specific help on the exporting of the MFD's to two additional monitors. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=62021 This thread is an exceptional tutorial on what you need to do to export the MFD's to a second monitor and a great explanation of the coordinates to position the images on the second screen. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=60815 After working with both of those, here is my result.
