  1. Well,I am back Couple of words about BREAK OFF and LAUNCH AUTHORIZED lights logic. When we are in- AIR- mode GUN ,AUT or MAN and distance to target is bigger than 2000 m, lights are OFF,needle is fully right. When distance is 1950m LAUNCH light is ON untill it reached 600-650m. Now LAUNCH goes OFF and BREAK OFF goes ON untill minim distance-fully left. The needle movement is very fluently. When we are in-GROUND-mode GUN-RKTS (S-5M,K) AUT or MAN and distance to target is bigger than 2000m,lights are OFF,needle is fully right. When distance is 1950m LAUNCH light is ON untill it reached 1200m,now LAUNCH goes OFF and BREAK OFF goes ON untill minim. distance. -GROUND-mode RKTS(S-24)-all is the same,except distance of change which is 1600m In analog.computer must be insert proper ballistic box(early model),or switch in proper position(late model) Small overlapping between lights is allowed,in moment of change. For guided missiles(scale 1-9km). Both lights are controlled by radar-target must be LOCK. For IR missiles R-13M,R-60M LAUNCH is ON at 9km-but pilot must have proper audio-signal in headphones (green light 60 must be ON) It mean that missile has target LOCK.by For SARH missiles R-3R,RS-2US- by light on radar screen. For CH-66 GROM (fixed beam mode)-LAUNCH is ON at 9km-but pilot must have visual contact with target. BREAK OFF is around 1700-1800m for all guided missiles.

  4. In DCS are spend shels perpendiculary with fuselage of aircraft-this is wrong animation. The spend shels are ejected from gun by velocity around 130km/h backward,plus velocity of aircraft.
  5. Wrong graphical animation willbe better interpretation,sorry.You can see attachement of SPRD-99(angle)and nozzle angle too.On YT you can find many videos about SPRD-99 useing. In DCS animation are flames parallelly with fuselage of aircraft.

  8. Another bugs in weapon system The piper never mark a target witch is lock by IR missiles.this is nonsense. Weird change of piper diameter,when aircraft is taxiing.There is no reason for it. Bad logic of four lights PUS 0(zero).Those lights has signalize that systém is ready for firing.Tere are four PUS-36-68 devices and when green light is ON PUS-36-68 is in initial position(ready for firing) Wrong grafical illustration of flames from SPRD-99(bad angle) Wrong grafical illustration of spend shels when gun is firing(bad angle) Wrong audio when gun is firing(from outer view)It sound like machinegun. GSch-23 has rate of fire 3000-3400rpm.
  9. Input of distance into ASP. 1.Automaticaly from radar 400-2000m. Switches position:GUN or RKTS,FIRE,AUT,GYRO,AIR,target is LOCKED (green light is ON) 2.Constant input 600-650m. Switches position:GUN or RKTS.FIRE.AUT,GYRO,AIR,LOCK is interrupted. (green light is OFF) So,when LOCK is lost and last distance was for example 1200m,ASP auto- maticaly has set 600-650m.The needle in transp.scale 400-2000m fluent- ly goes to 600-650m.When a pilot has renewed LOCK of target,ASP has set real distance. 3.Autmaticaly from radar 1-9km(for guided missiles) Switches position:SS,RKTS,FIRE,AIR,target is LOCKED(green light is ON) 4.Constant input 483m. It can be set as a radius of piper in mils by WINGSPAN inner scale on topmost distance scale. Switches position:SS,FIRE,AUT,AIR,GUN or RKTS,target is not LOCKED. 5.Minimal(fixed) distance 300m. Switches position:FIRE,GUN,MAN,GYRO,AIR.Twist grip on throttle is set fully forward(clockwise)-this is min. distance and the biggest diameter of piper.Now we must set proper wingspan on outer scale HO 300m. The red light BREAK OFF is on,gyroscope is automticaly dampered(slow moving) The central dot of piper is nearly boresight line and a pilot must have precisely frammed target.The target aspect is very small,so synchro- nization of central dot of piper with target is very short(1-2sec)Firing is performed by short ripple.Needle in distance scale 400-2000m is fully left. 6.Manual input of distance by optical rangefinder. Switches position:GUN or RKTS,FIRE,MAN,GYRO,AIR. Conditions:precisely setting of wingspan and precisely framed target. 7.Slant range input. a.)by radar in fixed beam mode.(range scale 400-2000m) Switches position:GUN or RKTS,FIRE,AUT,GYRO,GROUND. b.)by slant range box.No radar used. Switches position:the same. The slant range is computed as a goniometrical function of height and sinus of pitch angle.

  12. The SS position is reserved only for missiles(R-3S,R-3R,RS-2US,R-13M,R-60M and CH-66 GROM) In SS position- gyro group not worked and mirror of gyroscope is mechanicaly caged(immovable)Central dot of piper is set in boresight.

When you have select missile mode,the first of all you must set lever SS-GYRO to SS position,next is AUT and next is RKTS(PC),radar must be active and LOCK on target.So,when target is between 1-9 km you can see real distance. Bottom scale is for both GUN or RKTS in GYRO mode,manual distance,AIR orGROUND.
